CNN – Special Projects – Atlanta, GA                                        January 2008 – March 2016 Senior Producer

The mission of Special Projects is to create feature editorial content for CNN, HLN, CNN.com and HLNtv.com. Responsible for managing a staff of 14 producers, associate producers, and production assistants located in New York and Atlanta; Developing staff writing and editorial capabilities; Creating and influencing adoption of brands, themes and pitches for new series and shows; Managing and publishing the CNN Worldwide initiative Impact Your World – CNN.com/impact.

CNN – Medical News – Atlanta, GA                               December 2003 – December 2007 Producer/Writer/Field Producer

Served as producer/writer for Dr. Sanjay Gupta’s reporter packages and daily live reports for “American Morning.” Responsibilities included topic selection, production and writing the weekly show “House Call with Dr. Sanjay Gupta.”

Created campaign theme, videos and commercials for presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar and President Umaru Musa Yar’Adua. Interviewed numerous Nigerian Leaders including Former President Olusegun Obasanjo and Ken Saro Wiwa, Jr.

Worked on CNN’s 25th Anniversary Special Programming. Responsibilities included writing and producing “Then and Now” series. Collaborated as writer/line producer for monthly CNN 25 Specials including writing the Special “They Said What? with Larry King.”
